The Causes of Double Vision

In the video by Doctor Eye Health titled What Causes Double Vision, the doctor discusses some of the causes of double vision. When you are driving and suddenly see two cars or your vision gets blurry, it may be a sign of a serious illness or you are sitting at work and seeing double when talking to a coworker, for example. If this occurs, you may want to visit an eye doctor to be evaluated for the causes. They have many tests that can determine what is causing blurry or double vision and what vision disorders you have.

Some of the causes are strabismus, a condition that causes the inner eye to turn inward or outward, causing double vision in patients. They have tests at the eye doctor for this and treatments available.
